Soft Tissue

Soft Tissue Courses Offered:
These courses include the following teaching methodologies: didactic presentations enhanced by video surgery, live surgery observation, case planning workshops that allow you to asses what you have learned, training of your surgical assistant, and hands-on exercises performed on cadaveric specimens and/or simulated anatomic models.
Our intermediate Soft Tissue course is designed for clinicians with intermediate to advanced experience in implant surgery, who are looking to gain clinical knowledge and surgical skills required to perform peri-implant soft tissue grafting, as well as periodontal plastic surgery procedures at noncompromised sites. Emphasis will be placed on patient evaluation, anatomic and biologic material science, tissue engineering concepts, and surgical principles related to performing gingival and connective tissue grafting for implant site development and root coverage procedures. Participants will gain experience with conventional and microsurgical instrumentation, sterile operatory setup, and contemporary donor and recipient site procedures that minimize patient morbidity and maximize volume outcomes.
Our advanced Soft Tissue course is appropriate for clinicians with advanced experience in implant surgery who are looking to gain clinical knowledge required to perform peri-implant and periodontal soft tissue grafing, as well as periodontal plastic surgery procedures at compromised sites. Emphasis will be placed on patient evaluation, anatomic, biologic, material science, tissue engineering concepts and surgical principles related to performing Combination onlay-Interpositional grafts and Vascularized palatal pedicle flaps (VIP-CT flap) for soft tissue implant site development. Participants will gain experience with conventional and microsurgical instrumentation, sterile operatory setup, and contemporary donor and recipient sites procedures that minimize patient morbidity and maximize volume outcomes.
This 5-day course is an "intensive immersion experience” designed for clinicians who have considerable experience with periimplant soft tissue management, oral soft tissue grafting, and periodontal plastic surgery—and who are interested in expanding and elevating their scientific and clinical knowledge, improving their surgical skills, and increasing the level of implementation of these procedures within their clinical practices. This course is conducted in a highly interactive environment leading to a profound learning experience.
