The Sclar Difference

Our individualized curriculums provide a systematic pathway to achieve your professional educational goals. We ask you to complete a Curriculum Placement Questionnaire, in which we gather information about your past dental training, dental implant experiences, and level of interest in achieving acumen in a large array of dental implant skills. Dr. Sclar then evaluates this information to recommend a customized curriculum path and timeline to help your achieve your professional educational goals.

Your instructor and over-the-shoulder guide is one of the most experienced and successful dental implant surgeons and educators in the world. To maximize your experience, each course is limited to 16 participants.

Your surgical assistant will receive related clinical and administrative training at the same time. By learning along side you, your assistant becomes empowered to help you successfully implement the learned implant procedures in your practice.
Presentations are unbiased and commercial free. You will be exposed to and use a variety of the top implant systems while learning at the Sclar Center. Clinical presentations correlate with evidence-based scientific information.
Dr. Sclar demonstrates live surgery while providing simultaneous instruction so you gain in-depth knowledge about why and how he is performing each procedure. You will observe this live surgery in our ultra-comfortable classroom, high-tech simulation lab, or surgical suite with high-definition projection.
You will perform implant surgery procedures on mannequins or cadaver specimens in the simulation lab, under Dr. Sclar’s personalized guidance. You will experience increased enthusiasm and profitability in your practice as a result of successfully performing challenging and rewarding implant surgical procedures.

We have a uniquely extensive and constantly growing dental implant surgery video library. Didactic sessions make extensive use of surgery videos. Dr. Sclar’s video, review, and annotation of video footage captured during live surgical demonstrations foster in-depth understanding of procedural nuances. After you have attended a course, you will have access to our extensive video library for one year.
In our noncompetitive, supportive learning environment, you will develop friendships with colleagues, who have similar interests and experience levels. We provide all course materials, equipment and instrumentation, including elaboratively detailed course workbooks and surgical skills manuals.
Our students stay at the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel located in Coconut Grove. They receive a special hotel rate and transportation to and from the Miami International Airport, as well as transportation to and from the Sclar Center.
Your tuition includes training for your surgical assistant, breakfasts, lunches, a welcome reception and a celebration dinner with the group.
