ANTHONY G. SCLAR, D.M.D. 
Dr. Anthony G. Sclar is considered a leader around the world in reconstructive and esthetic dental implant surgery. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Anesthesiology training at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1989. A diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Sclar maintains an active interdisciplinary referral based dental implant surgery practice in South Miami, Florida. He performs 15-20 advanced and complex implant surgery procedures each week, including hard and soft tissue implant site development and tissue engineering procedures, periodontal plastic procedures, and immediate function procedures for partially and atrophic edentulous patients. He also manages patients presenting with a wide range of implant complications. Dr. Sclar’s patients originate from the Continental U.S., South and Central America, and the Caribbean. They seek out Dr. Sclar not only for his unsurpassed surgical skills but also for his caring and compassionate approach to treatment.
Dr. Sclar is the Director of Clinical Research and Dental Implant Surgery in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nova Southeastern University School of Dentistry, an editor for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery’s dental implant section, a reviewer for numerous implant journals, a member of the AAOMS special committee for the development of parameters of care and clinical pathways for dental and Craniomaxillofacial Implant Surgery and the founder of the Sclar Center for Empowered Dental Implant Learning.
In addition to publishing numerous scientific and clinical journal articles and textbook chapters pertaining to dental implant surgery, Dr. Sclar co-edited a surgical atlas entitled: Soft Tissue Esthetic Procedures for Teeth and Implants (W.B. Saunders 1999) and authored the hallmark, multi-language textbook titled Soft Tissue and Esthetic Considerations in Implant Therapy (Quintessence 2003). A much sought-after educator and lecturer, Dr. Sclar has made presentations to top dental professionals throughout the U.S., as well as Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, the UK, Australia, and Canada. Dr Sclar regularly participates as a featured speaker for numerous national and international implant dentistry conferences and symposiums, including AAOMS, AO, EAO, ACOMS, ISPRD, AAID, and ICOI.
An innovator, Dr. Sclar developed classifications and treatment algorithms for predictable management of extractions site defects and alveolar ridge defects in esthetic areas. He also developed the Bio-Col ridge preservation protocol, the Vascularized Interpositional Periosteal-Connective Tissue Flap for esthetic soft tissue augmentation, and the “u” shaped peninsula flap, a minimally invasive approach for implant surgery.
Having placed over 15,000 implants, Dr. Sclar currently is recognized as one of the most experienced implant surgeons and foremost implant educators in the world. He is a passionate teacher who empowers his colleagues by integrating evidence based information with his broad based clinical experience.

JUAN D. CARDENAS, D.D.S.

Dr. Juan Diego Cardenas is a highly skilled and experienced Prosthodontist at Dental Solutions of Miami, where he focuses on comprehensive interdisciplinary care with emphasis on cosmetics, implant dentistry and immediate function. He received his DDS degree from Fundacion Universitaria San Martin, Bogota, Colombia in 1986 and completed Advanced Graduate Studies in Prosthodontics at Boston University in 1993. Dr. Cardenas has lectured nationally and internationally on implant therapy and advanced cosmetic dentistry, and has successfully delivered over 750 full-arch immediate-load implant prostheses.
LARRY B. GRILLO, D.M.D.

Dr. Larry B. Grillo is the senior partner of Aventura Dental Arts. He graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School in 1986. Dr. Grillo works closely with oral surgeons, orthodontists and periodontists in the multidisciplinary treatment of patients requiring implant therapy and complex, esthetic dental rehabilitations. He has extensive experience in the treatment planning and restorative aspects of implant dentistry, and he is well versed with the various currently available prosthetic options. Dr. Grillo lectures on dental implant complications and a comprehensive approach to designing and delivering esthetic dental reconstructions utilizing implants.
ULI VON HAUSSEN, C.D.T.

Uli von Haussen, CDT worked in various dental laboratories throughout Germany and the USA from 1978 to 2001. In 2001, he became President of Implant Technical Support, Inc., in Miami, FL. Since 1994, he has completed well over 40,000 restorative cases, and through his dedicated passion, he has become a well-known professional partner and reliable specialist in unique and challenging cases. During the last ten years, he has completed over 2,000 full-arch restorations, including acrylic, screw-retained implant bar and hybrid, metal and/or zirconia supported prostheses. He has fabricated over 1,000 "All-on-4-or-More" full-arch immediate-load prostheses.
